The Renne Lab would like to welcome our new Postdoctoral Fellow, Sarah McMahon, PhD, who joins us from the Gladstone Institute, University of California, San Francisco. Welcome, Sarah!
Congratulations to Dr. Lauren Gay, et al, on the publication of the qCLASH paper, "Modified Cross-Linking, Ligation, and Sequencing of Hybrids (qCLASH) to Identify MicroRNA Targets" in Current Protocols. To view the full publication, visit our Publications page. Great job!
The 23rd International Workshop on Kaposi's Sarcoma Herpesvirus & Related Agents looked a little different this year, but nonetheless brought together a great group of scientists and trainees. Members of the Renne and Tibbets labs were in attendance, with several pictured above in a virtual group photo from one of the sessions. The conference organizers are still hoping to offer the 2022 conference in-person in Tanzania, as was planned for 2020.
Members of the Renne lab were happy to be back at our first in-person lab meeting in over a year! We shared a few treats, talked science and bananas, and were generally happy to have a bit more normalcy back in our lives!
Congratulations to our most recent Renne Lab graduates, Soleil Torres, MS, and Melissa Berrio!
